Everything you need to plan mount toubkal 3-day trek from marrakech — day-by-day itinerary, difficulty, fitness, altitude, weather, accommodation, food, safety, culture and logistics, from Marrakech to Mount Toubkal.
A guided three-day Mount Toubkal ascent from Marrakech. Day 1 climbs to the Toubkal Refuge, Day 2 is a pre-dawn summit push to 4,167 m with a return to the refuge for a second night, and Day 3 descends to Imlil and transfers back to Marrakech. The trek costs €462 per person; the Marrakech round-trip transfer is €60 per person (€522 per person total at the base price) and is not included in the trek price. This is a distinct itinerary from the 3-day acclimatisation trek. Pickup details and party arrangements are confirmed in the written proposal. Summit success depends on weather, health, fitness and route conditions, and is never guaranteed.
This three-day format summits on Day 2 and returns to the refuge for a second night, leaving the long descent to Imlil for Day 3 — a distinct itinerary from the 3-day acclimatisation trek, which adds a dedicated acclimatisation walk before summiting on Day 3. The Marrakech round-trip transfer is charged separately at €60 per person.

Across 3 days / 2 nights you cover around —, reaching 4,167 m, walking with a Berber mountain guide through the landscapes and villages of Mount Toubkal.
We use a carefully chosen mix of mountain refuges, family-run Berber guesthouses (gîtes) and, on desert and luxury departures, elegant tented camps. Refuges offer dormitory or shared rooms with hot meals; guesthouses provide private rooms, hot showers and home cooking; camps feature proper beds, en-suite facilities and candlelit dining under the stars.
Mountain food is fresh, generous and cooked from scratch. Expect harira soup, tagines slow-cooked over olive wood, couscous, fresh bread baked in village ovens, seasonal fruit, nuts and endless sweet mint tea. Dietary requirements — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal — are catered for with advance notice at no extra cost.
Your safety governs every decision we make. Guides carry a first-aid kit and are experienced in recognising altitude sickness and managing mountain emergencies. We monitor weather and will adjust or turn back a route when conditions demand it. Group sizes are kept small and emergency evacuation procedures are in place. Please arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering mountain trekking to your route’s maximum altitude before you travel.
We are a community-first operator. We employ local Berber guides, cooks and muleteers at fair wages, source food and lodging from mountain families, and follow strict leave-no-trace principles — carrying out all waste and protecting fragile alpine and desert environments. A share of every booking supports village schools and water projects across the valleys we walk through.
